Well my big scary meeting went really well. They didn't have anything bad to say, and whenever I feel down all I have to do is listen to the tape of the meeting to gain a little self confidence. There were 6 people there, the president of the school, the guy who kinda runs the place, and 4 teachers. Three of them suggested I go work for someone for a while before jumping into my own business while the other three said "you are ready, go for it" basically.

Then they asked my parents, "what do you think she should do next?" And they were both like, "She needs to go away somewhere and work for a while before she starts one up." So I was a little disappointed that they don't have faith in my abilities, but then a couple of the teachers were like all on my side. Saying that I was ready for it and could handle it, etc. So I thought that was really cool that they stood up for me.

But I think I'm more confused now than before the meeting. I don't know what to do. I think it would be great to go work on a cruise ship, which they all thought would be a great step, but if I go, I'm in a contract for 6-8 months at least. Which means I wouldn't see my new nephew/niece until they were 3 months old, I'd miss Thanksgiving and Christmas with my family. And I'm sure that there is a lot more stuff. So I dont know...

Its way hard to figure out where to go next. I know that I could survive if I moved home to start up. But I really wanna do some traveling, too. I just don't know.

So we had our first visitors this past weekend [ Erics best friend and his girlfriend ]. It was very nice to play host for a day and a half. They got in around 3 in the morning Friday night - is that the right way to say it?? I believe its still the same day if you haven't gone to bed unless the sun comes up of course. Anyway, so they got in and we talked for a while and then sacked out in hopes of waking up at 9 or so to go into the studio and shoot. That definitely did not happen. But we did get in there and had a great time. Got some really nice images of Emily and a couple good ones of her and Donnie together.

So we pissed away the day sleeping and shooting. Got out after 3 in the afteroon. So we didn't have a whole lot of time to do stuff during the daytime. We just ended up going to Yankee Candle and driving around UMASS, Amherst and Northampton. Went to the Tunnel Bar, very interesting place. Then went upstairs of that and got totally fat on spinach manicotti at an italian place. Mmmm sooo good.

Then we got back to our place and some friends from school came over and we wasted away the night playing games and drinking. Its been a while since I've done that. Now that all my friends back home are of age we always just go to the bar. But this summer I'm sure bonfires in the field will return! Can't wait for that. And contrary to some peoples beliefs...I don't mind being asshole, as long as its deserved and not because someone cheated - is that too hard to understand?  Anyway I'm not mad at him it was like a five minute PO'd session.

Sadly they had to leave early afternoon on Sunday so they could get home at a good time. So it was a short trip but I thought it went pretty well. And I'm very much looking forward to my next visitor...BETH! Next week baby :)

As for the rest of my life I just have to try to get some sleep tonight and hope for a good meeting tomorrow afternoon. Its the big scary one and my parents are coming out for it. Crossing my fingers the staff doesn't make me cry! :P Have a good one y'all

These April showers better be bringing some damn pretty May flowers. Its been raining nonstop for 2 days now. And it isnt helping my mood at all. I'm feeling incredibly grumpy and my cats aren't helping AT ALL. Jagger ran across my head this morning in hyper-mode, thank god we got his claws removed or I'd probably have a beautifully tore up head. Then Libby came in the bedroom and pissed on a pair of jeans on the floor. I'm seriously thinking about making her an outdoor cat. Then Jagger knocked my hairbrush into the litterbox and Libbys knocking over lamps. Grrrrr

Whew, felt good to get that out of my system.

So I haven't posted in a while...I've been pretty busy taking care of my assignments. I'm supposed to have 'em all shot for my big scary meeting which is next Wednesday.

Last night was fun...we went down to a pool hall in Springfield. It was ladies night so it was half off, otherwise it woulda been wicked expensive. Its so not like playing pool back home. There its like, wait your turn, put in your fifty cents, play, repeat basically. There its like 14 bucks an hour. But half off and splitting it up works out alright I guess. I stayed out later than I should have. I had an appointment in the salon for ten that I just didnt quite make it to. But its all good, I'll go down later. Well I'm all over the place and I guess theres shit that needs to be done so I should probably do them. Now I just gotta pick out my color for April.
