 *squeals of joy*

My dad approved it!! He said, "after reading that how can I say no?" I did a damn good job. But I had an awesome 'guide' to help me out A LOT. Whew!! So I guess I'm going to get the place as long as everything goes according to plan!

Well I've been pretty busy, although it doesn't seem possible seeing how I sat in my pajamas allllll day on this damn computer. I had to write up a business plan for my dad. He said if I'm asking him for a loan I have to treat him like a bank...so I sat all day working one out. I hope this is good enough for him. The last two he wasn't impressed with and told me to look up how to make a real one. So I did. I'll letcha know how it goes. He did say from the weak one I did over the weekend that it looked like this was going to be possible.

I checked out that building in Corry. Its pretty nice. I want to rent it. Bad. So I'll give my dad that proposal and see what he says I guess. I wish I could just get cracking RIGHT NOW. I'm pretty excited about it. Well thats all the update for now, I'm starving and need to find some dinner. While you are anxiously awaiting my return go play Dinky Bomb...its addictive and fun! www.weplayhere.com I think thats the right link. Bye :D

I just took a quiz here is the answer:

Bourbon

Congratulations! You're 102 proof, with specific scores in beer (100) , wine (16), and liquor (60).

Screw all that namby-pamby chick stuff, you're going straight for the bottle and a shot glass! It'll take more than a few shots of Wild Turkey or 99 Bananas before you start seeing pink elephants. You know how to handle your alcohol, and yourself at parties.

Oh my my, oh hell yes, you got to put on that party dress...hmm I wonder if Tom Petty still tours. Anyone know?

Welp its almost Friday already. Damn. This year is already going too fast. Well, I guess as long as it doesn't go this fast once the nice weather gets here it'll be alright.

I'm not sure if I updated about that building downtown or not, so here goes: it was teeny tiny [ 1 room with lots of windows ], they wanted me to pay $350 a month, and there wasn't a bathroom. So I'm gonna have to say, no way Jose. But I am going to look into a space in Corry tomorrow. It looks soooo nice. Not exactly what I'm looking for but it could be a good place to start out.

So I got this thing in the mail today...its the brochure on Hallmark -- and they used 2 of my images in it. So thats pretty exciting. Pictures always look so good in print! I've been in an excellent mood all week, I hope this continues FOREVER. I know thats irrational, but one can hope.

Going out tomorrow for the first time since my birthday. Looking forward to it. This whole going out once a week thing is easy. Alright I don't think I have anything else to write about so I'm out! Have a good night and weekend y'all

Oh my gosh I just got my bday present from Heather!! Its great. A talking Trump doll. In order to make him talk a lot you have to take off his clothes and flip a switch on his back first. I'm willing to bet he's not nearly as 'ripped' in real life as this doll is. Wow, look at those pecs. lol. If only I still played with Barbies...he'd be the man. He'd have Barbie & Skipper all over his rich ass. Plus he can bend in ways Ken could never dream of! Thanks Heath, made my day!  I love Trump, I need to get him a pink tie now :)

Well I'm certainly slacking on the updating of my blog. I'm sure it doesn't bother any of you.

I have been busy doing nothing it seems, since my last post. Some highlights: watched a lot of dvds, had a mini party and watched the Daytona 500 today [ was somewhat disappointed ], watched my cousin wrestle yesterday, made plans for tomorrow to check out that building for rent downtown, ate at the Hoagie Hut [ chicken finger sub - not as good as PWT in Fredonia, horrible deep-fried mushrooms - which sucked, cuz this place is usually really good ], had a really weird "episode" last night, umm I think thats probably it.

My head is feeling kinda funny so I'm going to quit typing now. Have a good evening----

Okay, as requested - some details.

Valentines Day: My mom gave me a gorgeous necklace and some chocolates.  Jason showed up at my house with a dozen roses, we took off to LaScala's, the restaurant where my best friend waitresses. Had some excellent food. Went to a nearby hotel. It was really nice. So much nicer than the one we went to for his birthday and it was cheaper...and mmm the contintental breakfast was nice. Lots of choices and whatnot.

My Birthday: After eating a little breakfast we went up to Erie to meet up with my mom and have lunch at Max & Erma's. Thank God nobody told the staff that it was my birthday, I wouldn't deal well with that. I hate turning red which I do easily, and now that my hair is all short again, there is no hiding my red ears! Echhh. So anyway, then my mom took me to Best Buy and I got the sirius satellite receiver I wanted!! I love it!! A lot.

Then I went home and gave Jason his Vday present that I had forgotten to take with me the night before. Took a nap. Got ready, went out to dinner with Jason, Stacey & Kevin. Had some drinks at a couple places in Erie and then went to Jimmy's to play darts and meet up with Renee. Took Jason home, me, Stace and Nee went to the tavern to finish up. Closed the bar with some odd conversations. Got my present from Stacey [ very cute VS stuff and some yummy stuff from Bath & Body Works ]. Then when I came in to go to bed I saw a little present wrapped on my pillow. Made me smile. It was season 5 of Sex and the City. Stace and I decided we need to get moving and watch season 3 this Sunday.

Hmm, that sums it up pretty well I think. It was fun, but Jason was sick and I didn't feel 100% either so I took it pretty easy, which is probably a good idea anyway!! So now that my bday is over, I'm going to start that whole 'one night a week to drink is all' thing I talked about before. It helps having other people to hang out with so I'm not just sitting home alone being bored.

So for the rest of today I'm going to go join the women's volleyball league downtown with my sister-in-law, Amy. And then watch movies and stuff with Jason and just veg out and relax. Sounds like a plan. Thanks to everyone who wished me a happy bday either by phone, by email, on here or on IM. I appreciated it  --

Yay, its my bday

Its been a good past day and a half. Tonight I am going out with friends to celebrate. I'll write more tomorrow. For now, I gotta go take a nap and get ready for dinner/going out!! Woo hoo. I love birthdays. You can't be in a bad mood. Well...maybe I will be in a few years but I guess we'll see.

Pretty Pointless Entry...sorry :)

Well, I had a pretty good weekend. Nothing overly exciting, but I wasn't bored, so thats good enough for me. I still haven't hit the mall yet but I will Tuesday.

So I may be photographing a wedding next month. Just got asked today. I want to do it, but I'm nervous. That should be expected, right? I have faith in myself, just have to not worry too much I guess.

I guess I've really got nothing to say today. I'll be back on Wednesday probably; tomorrow and Tuesday are going to be a lot of fun - I can't wait!      Okay I'll leave you with a couple of quotes:

"Whether you think that you can, or that you can't, you are usually right."
- Henry Ford

"The true measure of a man is how he treats someone who can do him absolutely no good."
- Samuel Johnson

Friday, February 11, 2005

Hey, its Friday! That means its time to start playing up my birthday and getting free stuff!!

I'm off to exercise and shop for something to wear to the MV party tomorrow and also a birthday outfit. Exciting. Especially when I hate all my clothes and I actually went into my mothers closet to see if she had anything I could wear. I can't believe she's starting to dress like an old lady already, its sad really. She's only 48...I think. Anywho, I'm off! Hope you all have an exciting weekend!!

Uh oh I'm grouchy. If you want to know you could IM me, maybe I'll tell...BUT its still a good day nonetheless. I am going to venture into the basement and go through 2 apartments worth of stuff. My parents finally decided that we don't need 2 microwaves, toasters, and all kinds of other stuff.  We have one massive yard sale day coming up, for sure.

I don't know if I really want to get rid of all of it since I want to move out sometime soonish.  I'm thinking by July I want to be on my own or possibly, living with a friend. I really wish someone would put up apartment/housing stuff in Clymer. I wouldn't mind staying in the area. Maybe I'll go to Findley, depending on if there is an appropriate sized place. Thats the town with the big Jesus, Heather!! When you see Jesus, turn left. Hehe.

Alright I'm going to drag my irritated ass off of here and do something before heading down to the basement. Hope you all have a wonderful day, and stay warm!! Brrr, all this snow sucks!

 Howdy y'all :)

Just got back from the dentists office, went well, the teeth are good, besides needing braces, but I have no insurance so that will never happen. Plus I'm almost 23...that might be weird. I dunno.

Today is my nephew Dustin's birthday. He's five, and he's got the flu :(. Poor darling. I hope I'm not puking on my birthday! I've been feeling pretty weird today though, all light headed and spinning.

There's a masseuse at Curves today...it would feel nice, but I don't want to pay for a massage and then work out. I would rather get the massage and leave. Hmm...its possible. No, I think I'm gonna play the "its my birthday for a week" card with Jason and ask him to give me one. Maybe its kind of unfair since I get two days in a row, Valentines day and then my bday, but I guess we'll see. My neck and shoulders are killing me so I'd certainly appreciate it.

Well I'm off to veg out playing games and eating some lunch. Then comes cake and ice cream for Dustin's 'party' up here :). Have a good hump day everyone!

Well, I am in a better mood as of right now. Not a good mood, but a better one. I've been working on some photo stuff, that usually seems to put me in a decent mood. I'm seriously thinking about checking out the little building downtown that is for rent to see if it would work as a studio for me. I know I would do a lot more shooting if I had a designated place like that.

Question for anyone out there who wants to answer: If you were getting a business card from a photographer, would you prefer there be at least one photo on it, or would name/address/telephone/etc suffice? Seriously, lemme know what you think. I'm about to make up some new business cards and would like some input.

With that I think I'm off to do a little more work before settling into some tv...

As my little i-mood thingy shows, I am CRANKY. I don't know what  my problem is, I've been on and off bitchy since last Thursday or something I think. I started working out again yesterday...went well, minus the weighing and measuring. I'm the fattest I've ever been, I feel okay about myself right now though, so I guess it can only get better. I've gained TEN POUNDS since I quit going. Yuck, thats about how much I'd gained since high school, so now I've gained 20 since high school. In five years I suppose thats not too bad, but I'd rather get back to 120 lbs or so. I dont need to be as skinny as I was in high school so 120 would be perfect.

Speaking of weight...I was reading Jane magazine yesterday and there was something in there about a homeless guy who was complaining about being fat. It really is an epidemic, so many people are obsessed with their weight.

Well I'm off to go workout. I'm gonna get my 3 days in quick this week. Later gator--

Monday, February 07, 2005

Here it is Monday already and it feels like I don't know where the weekend went. I had a really good one. Went to the AmVets in J-town for dinner and drinking on Friday night. Thats where Renee works, thats why we went. It was cute to see the old people karaoking [ is that a word? ]. And the old man in charge asked me to pick the winning numbers for the lottery thing they do. I didn't know that people 'tip out' the number picker when they win big, so when Jason and Renee told me that, I got excited. I drew the $2,000 dollar winner...they called out the number...some woman yells ''she just left.'' I was so disappointed. Then the $500 winner wasn't even there at all. Too bad, I coulda used some cash :).

Speaking of private clubs, I'm pretty sure I'm going to join St. Joe's. I'm going there with my uncle this weekend. Which hanging with him is always a good time. Which leads me into Saturday night. Went to his apartment early to hang out, things came up, he had to go to some other place with all the 'wrestling parents' so he and his wife didn't meet back up with us until 11:30 at the bar. So my friends band was playing there and they rocked out. It was a good time. Not that many people there [ lack of advertising on the bars part -- bastards ] but still fun and I danced with my drunken aunt who doesn't go out often enough.

Then came the Super Bowl, disappointing to say the least. The commercials, the Patriots winning, waaah. How shitty could McNabb be? Geez, he really sucked last night. There were a few good commercials though...the budlight one where the guys take pix at the SB and send 'em to his friend, and his friend sends back the pix of him at the guy at the SBs apartment and with his gf. that was funny. And the new Mustang convertible ad was fun. There were a few others but I don't remember them off the top of my head. But it was all fun regardless, cuz Jason, Jeremy and Stace came over to watch it here.

Yeah thats about it...sorry if I bored ya!! Keep it real Cheers!

Wednesday, February 02, 2005

Okay so I changed the color, hope this suits you more Jen ;)

Well my night is kind of disappointing due to a really big pothole on the thruway.

I just watched Shall We Dance? with my mom. It was cute I guess. Makes me wanna dance though. Seems like a good way to workout. I used to do it back before I had to choose between dance classes and basketball in junior high, [ jazz and acro, not ballroom ]. I'm glad I chose basketball but it would have been nice to do both.

So tonight is gonna be boring. I can feel it. I am thinking about calling Stace for a Sex and the City night, but I don't think I want to stay up very late. Maybe I should though, since plans for tomorrow got changed, too.  Ehhh. Maybe I'll just go shopping. It is tax free week in NY. Although living so close to PA I never shop in NY anyway.

Alright well I have nothing exciting to discuss, hopefully everyone had a good hump day.

Would ya look at that?! Its already February. Its insane. I definitely didn't start the new month off right. Went out with Jason, my best friend and her boyfriend and had a really good time. Too good. I'm still feeling it a bit now. Ehhh. Stupid, stupid, stupid me.

I just read a thing in the March issue of Glamour - living like an amish will make you less fat. Hmm...judging by the women around here, I wouldn't go so far as to say that Eating huge meals, walking about 7 miles a day. The woman in the mag lost 3 lbs. in one week of doing it. I wonder if she lost anymore if she stuck with it.

I'm finally going back to Curves to work out again. My mom thinks she is ready and since I skipped for the last 2 months I'd rather have her go back with me, especially since she's the reason I joined to begin with. Plus everyone will be excited she's feeling better and not pay any attention to lazy me. I'm dreading going back for the fact that I probably weigh more now than I did when I started there in July. Ugh. Not cool. They are all sorts of supportive and stuff but I can't help thinking that they are thinking "what a lazy shit."

I know that the measuring/weighing each month is supposed to be something to look forward to, but I actually fear it. I'm serious. Sounds dumb, but I make myself sick thinking 'oh god what if i gained?' So I'm hoping that they won't measure me, or if they do, they won't tell me the results. I'd rather just measure myself when I start up again and then right when I'm done in June.

Well I'm off to eat some shells and cheese since all I've had today was almost one cracker and a sandwich. I guess if I lived through frequent hangovers I'd probably lose weight...yucky thought. Aight have a good night everyone
