Its Monday and I'm back in the studio. I took Friday off to shop and move in to the apartment. I'll have to take some pics soon of it. Its starting to look homey. Jason and I went shopping yesterday for curtains and stuff like that.

I'm dying of boredom here. I don't really have anything to do, my printer isn't working right :(, and I feel sick. Stuffed up, sore throat, headache. Hooray. Its hard to sit here all day when I know I have stuff that I could really be doing as far as the apartment goes. I'm doing my best though. Theres only so much pretending to look like I'm doing work that I can do, and I feel like an animal in a zoo; anyone walking by can see in, and I feel like I'm stuck here. I just want to be at home in bed. I feel so tired even though I slept a lot last night. I think I was asleep by 1030 but I'm not sure.

As for this snow, thats not making my day go any better. Its almost May and we've got accumulation. Tomorrow is supposed to be sixty == what is going on here??

Well I've been working on this entry since 10 am so I guess I ought to just post what I've got. Until next time :-*

my life, catch up

Accomplished exactly what I'd had planned for yesterday. Now today has been completely thrown off track though. Woke up at 6:30, drove home, thought I'd take a shower and go into work, didn't happen. Ended up sleeping til 11. So work is not even on the radar today because I have too much packing to do, plus I have to make a delivery for MV, and go buy a tv with my mom.

Not sure how the living at the apartment thing is going to go since we don't have the fridge there yet. Seems like nothing is there and that we will die of boredom by tomorrow morning :-P. I'm sure that won't really happen, we've got movies & xbox anyway. So this first week is gonna be crappy, no furniture for the living room, no cable and no fridge. Its going to be raining all week so we can't really move any of that either, I guess.

I've had a few people come into the studio throughout the week and ask about doing some portraits for them in the future. I gave them my card, now I can just hope that they'll come back and actually hire me when the time comes!

Aww my poor nephew...when I walked in the house this morning he had already gotten dropped off, and he hid from me when I got inside. He had been crying because my bed was gone and he thought that me and the cats were gone too. He's all sad about the move. If only he realized my mom was gonna pimp out my room for him and the other boys to play in, then maybe he wouldn't be so sad! :)

Ok so a super quick update:

I'm skipping out of work early to pack up some clothes n whatnot to move to the apartment. But when I got home my mom decided we need to shop for a few things and do lunch...who can say no to that?? So thats what I'm doing. Then Jasons coming over and we are going to move my massive bed. It will suck, but if I've got big strong men to help [ which I do ], I don't have to do much in that department :).

I guess other than that, nothing real exciting going on today. Hopefully gonna get the entertainment center put back together. Probably gonna be tough since I didn't keep the instructions. From now on I will keep that kind of stuff!!

Holy moody bitch, batman.

I don't know WHAT is going on with me right now. Ever since Friday I have been having random acts of bawling. I busted out crying twice last night when we went to the bar for dinner, once at the bagel shop, at least one time while I was driving, and of course while trying to go to sleep. What the hell is wrong with me???? Thats mostly the only mood that I'm sporting right now, I'll be normal and then -BAM- here come the tears.

Everyone seems to think its stress, I hope so, but I haven't ever really been a cry baby when stressing out. Of course, this is the ultimate in stressful points in my life I think. Opening my own business, having my first real apartment...I don't think  I should have taken on both at the same time maybe? But I don't care I'm going into this with a positive attitude and I think everything is going to work out perfect. Guess we'll see.

Well, I'm off to maybe get some stuff done. We were supposed to move stuff in today but Jason is having car troubles so I don't think its gonna happen. I'm going to leave on a positive note however, CHICKEN N BISCUITS at the country club tonight!!!! That should end my day well...

 Well I am going to be a Pennsylvania resident here in the next week or so. Going to sign the lease on the apartment we looked at the other day. Having mixed feelings about moving out. I'm really excited and happy but I'm a little sad to leave my mom. I'm gonna miss her! Luckily I will only be 10 miles away so it really isn't so bad. I'm her baby and I know she's gonna miss the crap outta me. I'm pretty sure she also knows that I'll be back to do laundry anyway :)

That's about it for today, I guess. Going to Jason and Jeremy's house for a little beer pong action tonight! I can't wait, its been quite a while since I've played. And then this weekend we are going garage sale/household sale shopping. Should be fun. Maybe I'll be able to find some good props for the studio while I'm at it.

So we checked out this apartment last night. Seems perfect...except we have to have a fridge and stove to move in :(  We can't just go out and buy them, so I dont know if this is gonna happen. I really want it to, its right in the middle of where I work and where Jason works. Perfect location. New apartment. Not too expensive. Ehhh. If only I didn't catch the stove on fire at our old house, I could have used that. Stupid me :)

Well I'm off to get ready, I have a meeting with the guy at the gym. He's made a program up for me so that I can lose my belly :)  After that I have to go to work [ same building, how awesome ]. So I guess I'll update later maybe.

Heather==sometimes I just get bored with this thing, but it is nice to let you guys know what I'm doing, and to read what you are doing. How exciting about moving to Virginia! I wish you the best of luck!!

Okay, so I'm gonna play a little catch up...

Lets see, WEDNESDAY I didn't do much of anything while I waited around for my mom to get back from surgery. Everything went well. After she got back I went and played volleyball, picked up some C&B to eat at home, and just hung out with Jason. THURSDAY, hmm do I remember Thursday? Oh yeah, I don't think I did a whole lot, but I did go out to see my friend Kurt who came back from Seattle. Went out FRIDAY night and had a good time. Well...things would have been perfect had we just stayed at the bar my uncle works at. I drink for free and he makes the drinks very strong. Sure its a total dive, but why would I pass up free drinks? SATURDAY was pretty fun. We woke up and layed around for a while, went cruising in the vette's with my parents and went to lunch, did a little apartment hunting, went to TJs to get ice cream!, then went home and just chilled out. It was a really good Saturday, especially since it was so nice out.

I guess that brings me to today. Got up, went over to Jason's grandma's house for his sister's birthday dinner, drove to NE looking for apartments and stuff there, dropped Jason off, finished watching the race with my mom and now here I sit typing all this. I can't wait to move out, and living with Jason will be really nice.  Hopefully we find a place that we can get a dog!!

Well, I'm getting bored with the whole blog thing, I don't know if I'll keep it up much longer. I'm impressed I lasted this long.

my life, catch up

I've worked enough this morning to decide I have earned a break, and I'm gonna spend it writing on here and eating some yummy turkey medallion smart ones dinner. I need to get outside soon, its over 70 degrees again. Makes me soooooo happy.

Right now, I'm waiting for my mom to get back from the hospital. She finally got to go through with her carpal tunnel surgery. Only on one hand for now, but the other one will be in a couple months. I never realized people besides comput-aholics got CT, but now I realize that it does happen.

My website is coming along really well, I think. I'll probably upload it this weekend. I'm kind of getting sick of playing with it, but my dads been a huge help. Thats the only time we really "bond" -- over the computer. But thats okay I guess.

Things didn't go quite as planned the first day of moving into the studio. I was trying to pull some pieces apart on my posing table and I whacked the crap outta my head. I started bleeding everywhere and I called my mom and was like "How do I know if I need stitches??" I guess I freaked her out cuz she thought it was way worse than it was. [ note: I definitely did NOT need stitches, I was just freaked out by the blood spewing from my head ] So I didn't do too much after that happened, so there is still a lot to be done over there.

I'll be putting up the pics later today of the interior empty. An outside shot'll get taken soon, though. Hmm, I think thats it for now. I'm off to watch some soaps and play outside on this gorgeous day!!

 Alrighty, quick update before MOVING INTO THE STUDIO!

The hospital shoot went really well, and it seems that the crowd that was there was the one to be meshing with already. It was one of those $100 a plate benefit dinners. It was amazing. I got to drink mixed drinks and eat the filet mignon and everything for FREE! And there was so much publicity for me there, too. I was mentioned in the program, the main speaker said stuff about me twice, and then theres the coupon of mine that I put in the gift bags that everyone got to take home. And of course, the picture of the couples I took as they walked in. We put them in magnetic frames so they could hang 'em on the fridge. I overheard people as I was leaving saying that the pics looked good. So thats a bonus. I kinda thought they looked a little like a prom picture gone bad, but not too shabby nonetheless. Hopefully people check out my website and don't judge me on this one thing! :)

Pics of the new studio should be up soon, I'll take some before I fill it and after :D.
