Ahh so the chapter in my life known as the little old man and me has finally ended. Thank heavens! I had mailed him the photograph and a bill, he stopped in and paid it this week. Awesome. On Monday I had a photography session with a little girl. It was her second birthday, and she was sooo cute! It went really well, made me hate my studio space a lot less. I've been getting a lot of response from my corvette pictures on my website, so thats great, too. I've got my first PR shoot set up for some time next week probably. Things are rolling along nicely.

Jason and I are planning a vacation this weekend for sometime in August. Hoping to go to South Carolina and maybe make a few stops along the way down or up. He's never played in the ocean so hopefully we make it to the beach. I so badly want to be on a beach, but not the beach up here. Lake Erie is gross. I can't WAIT for a vacation!!



In honor of my five year reunion tomorrow my 5fF list is as follows....

Five things I wish were different about me for my reunion tomorrow....

*I wish I had better hair, its in the process of being grown out...again...blech!
*I wish I was thinner
*I wish my chest wasn't peeling like I have some disease, damn it was so tan, too!
*I wish my parents had their swimming pool put in already so that the reunion would be more fun [ its taking place at their house, since plan A failed ]
*I wish I didn't have to wish these things cuz everything else in my life is so great right now

Urgh I just typed something and then lost it. Its kinda one of those fuck-everything-up days. Messed up a good photo earlier, pretty sure I don't have it backed up. DAMMIT.

Anyway, I don't have much time to write in this apparently, so I'm going to fill in some space by showing some pictures when I get the chance. And wouldnt ya know it, I have a chance right now in between showing images to a client, having lunch with my mom and nephew and uploading new stuff to my website. Over the weekend I got to photograph a bunch of Corvettes on the local racetrack. Soooo much fun. Here's a shot from it:

Welp, its been a week so I'm playing catch up...

Life has been pretty good. The wedding last weekend went really well. Jason was my assistant, which he hated being called that, but it was nice to have him there. Tuesday I had an "I appreciate Jason Day" because he was so good to me over the weekend. He helped me with the wedding and didn't complain when I just wanted to go home and go to bed after it [ it was about 11 when we got home ] and then he said it was okay with him on the fourth when I just wanted to go home and chill out instead of go to parties and watch the fireworks instead of being pissy that I was tired and just wanted to relax and go to bed early. So I really appreciated all of that so I cleaned up the bedroom and kitchen since those are pretty much the 'messy' rooms, cooked him a pretty yummy dinner [ even if he did have to cook the potatoes a little longer before we ate them :P ], and then I gave him a candle-lit massage [ all that was missing was some relaxing music...anyone have any suggestions on that?? Cds or songs, anything like that? ]. I really like the ones that sound like rain or you could do yoga to, but I don't know where to find something like that.

I came into work on Wednesday with a message on my machine, someone looking for a wedding photographer [ woo hoo! ], they are coming in to look at my past two weddings on Monday. Kind of scary since this will be the first time anyone has seen the wedding shots yet. I think now would be a good time to show one of the pics from last weekends wedding. I dunno why I like this one, I just do. Kind of too small for you all to really see it but you get the point, right? :)

Yesterday I finally got a new phone, its the motorola v555. I -love- it. The camera in it is really good. Now if only I knew someone I could send the pictures to! I'm happy to have it because there were so many times when I've seen something and I wish I could show it to Jason or one of my friends because I think they would appreciate it. Hmm not much else to say right now. 5fF to be posted later today.
