I just submitted my preschool photos to the lab and now I'm sooooooo bored. Lot going on this week but right now I just want to be at home. The weather is so crappy and I just wanna curl up with Jason on the couch and sleep. It is his day off and he can't go hunting so maybe I'll get to do just that.

I'm so excited every time I think I'm going to be bored someone actually makes an appointment for me to take pictures for them! Its great.

I have to put a happy 21st shout out to my cousin Joel!! Finally of legal age to drink with the big kids even though he's been doing it for so many years already...

Tomorrow I will [ hopefully ] be getting my PA license and saying goodbye to my NY one which is still good for 6 more years [ Dammit I paid for that!  ]. I don't think the PA ones last more than a couple years not like our 8 year ones.

Oooh, someone else came in to set up a shoot. Its so amazing to actually have people hire me to make something for them!

Ugh, I'm so sick of looking at the computer screen but there really isnt much else to do right now. I take breaks and try to avoid headaches, but I think its damn near impossible. And this fuzzy sweater I'm wearing is completely rubbing off onto my pants and clinging. I look like I was just playing with a maltese or something.

Oooh wee, finally some chill time. Its been a pretty crazy 3 weeks or so. Right now I'm waiting for my pumpkin spice cake to cool so I can frost it. -- What can I say, Martha Stewart inspires me. :-p  I've just been feeling a little holly-homemakerish or something lately. I want to decorate my apartment, bake, send little notes to everyone I know, because EVERYONE loves mail, just do all kinds of seasonal things and whatnot. Its definitely a bit strange.

How about weddings, are they catchy or what?? It seems like as soon as someone has been married the next couple steps up and does their thing. I'm getting to the point where I want my turn -- not anytime real soon, but I've just changed my mind about marriage. At least for this month...I am always going back and forth about that and having kids. :)  Guess we'll see.

Speaking of weddings, my neighbors are in Vegas right now, getting married on Saturday afternoon. That makes the apartment all married couples, and me and Jason. Hopefully the ones in Vegas don't have a baby anytime soon, their apartment would be the only one we could really hear a baby cry through...thats awful of me!

On Monday and Wednesday I had a preschool shoot. They were so cute! It wasn't too awful bad, minus a kid who had snot dangling out of her nose and the other kid who was antisocial to everyone and tried to sink as deep into the chair as she could. I felt bad for her. She's adorable, she just needs to come out of her shell I guess.

Well the family is starting to show up so I have to get back to making my cake, washing my truck and playing with the nephews while they carve pumpkins.

Wow, I have been so busy the past week. I'll start with yesterday since thats the freshest in my mind...

My mom's birthday was on Saturday but I was shooting a wedding so we couldn't do anything together, so we got together on Sunday. We went to a for women only expo, which was fun, out to dinner, and then to a concert. We saw Josh Gracin and Chris Cagle and it was so much fun!! JG did a bunch of covers which is always a good time, he did a couple of Garth Brooks songs and Bon Jovi's Wanted Dead or Alive. Both guys sounded just like they did on the radio [ very sexy :) ]. You know how sometimes when you see a band perform live they sound like crap? Well these two were perfect. Does anyone else develop a crush at every concert they go to?? :-p  So anyway, my mom had a happy late birthday with me, and it was really nice.

The wedding was Saturday but in reality everything started on Thursday. Thursday: bachelorette party, Friday: meet with bride & groom at 9 am at the church, back to the church at 5 for rehearsal and rehearsal dinner afterwards, bed EARLY! Saturday: pictures from 11 AM to 11 PM. It was a lot of fun, tiring, and a busy weekend, but I'm glad I got to be a part of it.

Also on Thursday my mother, grandmother, sister-in-law and I all went wine tasting. We had planned to hit up 4 or 5 wineries but that soon changed after we all had a pretty happy buzz going after just two places. It was very fun and I hope we do like we said and start doing stuff like this once a month or so.

Well I've got lots of work to do, so I better get going...Have a good week everyone!!

my life, catch up

Well I'm FINALLY back online!! And its about damn time. I kept having to drive to the next town over where my parents live to use their computer for work related things. I had to download programs onto their computer and take discs of photographs over. I'm irritated and today when I hooked up my replacement equipment and it didnt work, I cried a little. Then I decided to try to reset all the things the one lady had me change and finally got it to work.  I've been stressed out over this for TWO WEEKS!!! Finally I can smile again But seriously, I would never recommend earthlink to ANYONE. I hate that the people at the help-line are all foreign and English is their 'how you say it?' second language. I don't know how many times I heard 'how you say it? modem?' during my 3 or so hours on the phone with these people. Ehhh. So its all over! And I am happy again. I've got so much work to send to the lab and I need my internet working.

I've got a big wedding to shoot on Saturday!! I can't wait! Plus I've got a lot of senior portrait orders coming in, so right now life is good. Oh and I got a new vehicle Well, its not new, but new to me and in it great condition. Its nothing really special but I like it, I'll put a pic on later.

So today I'm looking really sexy, I woke up with my left eye totally bloodshot, feeling like I've got some inner ear thing happening since I'm feeling so dizzy and weird. I don't think I'll be at work all that long today because if anyone came in they'd probably walk back out, I'm that creepy today.

Welp, my moms here I gotta go do some stuff around the studio....
